1. Can you name the seven members of this Shrigley 1st XI who are among the 20-30 Old Boys who have attended many of the Annual Reunions held 1996-2007?

2. Can you send us a copy of YOUR House Team or 1st XI (Cricket also) - and challenge us to name the Old Boys who have joined our Reunions so far?

3. Will you, in any event, COME YOURSELF to the 2008 Reunion - and persuade another/others to come with you  - maybe for the first time?

4. It will be great for "us regulars" to meet you, after all these years!

Greetings to ALL Shrigley Old Boys and Staff!

Padding up
Some memories of fifty years ago - seen through rose tinted glasses no doubt:
* summers were much warmer and winters much colder then,
* the Rector driving the van to collect the large contingent from Stalybridge, Droylesden and environs,
* the excitement of family visits.
The one person to appear on all three of these photos intends to be at this year's reunion, can you name him and, more importantly, will you join him in September back at Shrigley?

MUNICH  AIR CRASH  February 1958...

1.  Where were you when you heard about the Manchester United Crash?

2.  Which two Busby Babes had a visit to Shrigley planned?

3.  What are your recollections of the days and weeks following the Crash?

Busby Babes

I was "Bro. Eric", in charge of the Boys' Refectory.  I have very clear recollections....I have written a booklet and shall be reading the MUNICH AND SHRIGLEY
section, during the Reunion in September, as part of the "REMINISCENCES" Event.

I would love you to come to this Event when we can exchange our Shrigley stories.

I hope to meet you.

Greetings to all Past Pupils and Past Staff of Shrigley!
